Slavery : A poem by Mohi Adedare

Slavery

This sound narrates my past
When my eyes were blinded
and were folded.

This tears that flows is not nature
But we've pounded sand
and rubbed to our faceless faces
We're shedding tears
of regret.

Slavery
As good as beating drum
Sweet like serving unknown god
When eyes shedding palm oil
Of no reason,
And dreaming of unfaithful tales

Halt
This is unfaithful
Enough for suffering
That kills out fathers'
And still plotting to reign on us

Our fathers were impose
Still we child were forced to eat bitterness of life

Arise for good thought
This Is faithful
For our arms cleaning and nose shedding
We are reaping what we sowed.
Grave is near to us,
We need to fear our last house.

Slavery
The spherical of like will tear your garment,
And hiss to your integrity,
Yes your turn is over
Because we're soon move to freedom.

This is your way our
Slavery is dead.
