An interview with Founder of Horn of Afroclassical Poet.

Interviewer: Good evening Mr Justice

Interviewee: Good evening sir

Interviewer: Nice having you on the hot seat and I'm really happy that you can dedicate your time for us to interview you sir. 
I personally *Mahi Adedare*, the host and the admin of www.ourhandwriting.blogspot.com welcome you once again.

Interviewee: My pleasure, glad to have you.

Interviewer: Please sir, what can you say or can you tell us more about Horn of Afroclassical Poets as the founder of the association?

Interviewee: Horn Of Afroclassical poets is an organization that concerns itself with the promotion of literary activities, Arts and culture but with special focus on indigenous and African Poetry, Arts and culture related activities. The organisation took up the responsibility to excite the poetic world with intellectual poems, garnishing it with indigenous condiments in a bid to exhume the aroma of "back to our roots"
It is worthy of note that the organization has earned for itself several awards and a desirable recognition among literary,culture and Arts promoters.

Interviewer: Fantastic
But the group has been in existence up to how many years now?

Interviewee: HAP was officially unveiled January 2nd 2015 at which by 2019 HAP would clock 4yrs of existence.

Interviewer: So it clocked 3yrs as at January of this year. 
Glory be to God. 

Interviewee: Yes Sir

Interviewer: Are you running this association in band or alone? And where do you base? 

Interviewee: In band!
HAP is rooted in Oyo town home of culture which at present we operate within Oyo & Ibadan effectively though in some other location too

Interviewer: That's awesome. 

The echoes of this year coming event has been roaming around the nerves of every citizen
Does it really going to be big and encompass of many activities or why should people be there?

Interviewee: Much is to be said about HAP'18 poetry festival.
We are expanding every day and we believe the poetic world should join this movement without any form of sentiment.

HAP'18 poetry Festival tag "The Nightingale Edition where we would be celebrating youths who had done well in there own little way to have contributed to the development of the society.
Last year was a day program, HAP'18 poetry festival will hold August 24/25th both day is full of activities with mind blowing performances.

24th August would be marked with road show,visit to schools & elders in our society for interview session & engaging in charity giving.

Interviewer: That's more interesting than expected.

Interviewee: Yes sir

Interviewer: Is there any dressing code or a shirt or vest already designed for the attendees for our people to know sir?

Interviewee: Yes.
There's a vest for the day which cost 2000

Interviewer: Just 2000 naira?

Interviewee: Yes

Interviewer: Mr Justice, before we round this off, tell us about yourself sir
And tell us about the Award to be given and what we should be expecting in regard of Art and culture that this group is proclaiming

Interviewee: Am Justice Ademola from the  family of Adejare,born in Oyo town in southwest Nigeria.
Holding an award of bachelor of degree in English and literary studies (B.Ed)

As have said earlier,some poets,cultural promoter,tourist, pan Africanist will be awarded at HAP'18 poetry festival which I won't want to name them.


Interviewer: You haven't told us about the venue and the time sir

Interviewee: The grand finale hold at Atiba University Oyo

Interviewer: OK good sir.

Interviewee: Yes

Interviewer: And sir, for a good founder of a classic organization like this you must have dreams and visions, can you share sir?

Interviewee: Yes we do

Interviewer: Can you share with us sir?

Interviewee: Yes

Interviewer: Please do

Interviewee: Talking about HAP, I don't think we have any problem because of the zeal & passionate team who are willing & ready to sacrifice to promote poetry as our core value is (impacting life's, making difference, Touching life's & giving back to the society)

My dream is for HAP poetry festival to be taken over by Government.

This can be done and we are already making move .
I believe poetry should be celebrated as other festival across the state e.g( Drum Festival, Osun oshogo Festival, Aso ofi Festival etc) Poetry should be taken to it peak and form.
HAP is on the move & having series of meeting with Government stakeholders giving them reasons why poetry should accustomed as a well celebrated festival across the state.
If this is done,by then if we need funds from government I strongly believe that we can get it.

On this note,I want to announce to you that we are going through the process and we are doing everything within our reach in ensuring government see POETRY as a tool for socio -cultural development.

Interviewer: Before we cut the show, you must have faced some challenges and likewise some problems must have been encountered and must be experienced too.
Do you have any advise(s) for poets, writers and everybody reading this?

Interviewee: Challenges are for human not for animals.
But I have learnt that problems,challenges are to be solved,are to be given solutions when it comes and not let dwell on it.

Am once called the unlucky and today I would say,I took a bold step which I started with nothing but a vision.
My advise: Giving up on your journey to your dream land makes you a failure.
Note:laziness result to failure & laziness is an assassin to success.
